After selling his plant hire business to a trade buyer in 2024, Andy saw firsthand the good and bad of the exit process. He now uses that experience to help other business owners achieve successful acquisitions and exits.

Andy's time in the industry places him perfectly to help owners and acquirers. He ran a property development company building out 20 new build homes over 5 years as well as delivering a body of 'small works' in the built environment. He has first hand experience of the pain and the highs of: land acquistion, development funding, trades management, dealing with planning bodies, selling new build homes and everything in between.
Whilst running a profitable development company he was also co-owner of a Plant Hire company, Tiger Plant, based in Swindon. Started in 2017, the business grew to a fleet of over 120 machines on the Asset Register, a team of staff and delivery vehicles and an a conveniently placed yard to house it all.
The Exit Advisor was set up to lean into the experience Andy has, with a view to help business owners in a similar situation who want to sell their Plant hire or Construction based companies. We are also working on the buy side of the M&A space, helping these owners grow through acqusition
